We have been breeding dogs since 1958, back then it was border terriers We moved to New Fosse Farm in 1993 were we have established a small (breeding only) kennel
Our dogs have a large run to run around in the day. The dogs are regularly handled and played with
We breed our dogs so that they are healthy, and have a temperament that is very suitable as a pet , of course each dog has its own personality, which is also influenced by the way it is brought up. We do not show our dogs. Some people say that westies sometimes have skin problems, we haven't found this to be the case with ours. We believe this is because they are in a cool out door environment. We advise westie owners to let there dog(s) sleep in the kitchen or utility room, and not near a radiator, and also to only bath them when it is really needed, as bathing washes out the natural oils in there skin.
